If you will notice around the center of the downtown, new poles and new lights have been erected. These new lights not only replace the deteriorated poles but also provide brighter and more economical lighting. The street lights replaced are located on West Spring Street between South Franklin Street and South Perry Street. The Redevelopment Authority is in the process of seeking funding to replace the rest of the lights in the downtown area. Take a nice brisk winter walk this evening and enjoy our new lights! |
