More rural families and individuals may be eligible to become homeowners with the help of a USDA/RECD loan program.  Sometimes good credit and a steady income are not enough to qualify at commercial lending institutions, like a bank or savings and loan.  A sizable down-payment may also be required.  The purpose of this program is to work in partnership with other lenders in providing combinations of government and direct lender credit to meet applicant's needs.

Section 502 Loans may be used to assist in the purchase of a home. Section 504 Loans are used to repair or improve homes for eligible families.

The Titusville Redevelopment Authority has been designated by the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Economic and Community Development office as the local Packager for Section 502 and 504 Rural housing loans in the Titusville Area.   Interested parties should contact TRA at info@tcda.org for more information.
