Our place in History:
Titusville,
Pennsylvania is
located in the "Valley that Changed the World". Founded by Jonathan
Titus and Samuel Kerr, our community established a trading post and was
known for it's lumber industries. In 1859, Edwin Drake drilled the World's
first producing Oil Well, bringing many famous people who opened
businesses and industries in our community.
Today, older buildings
are being renovated to promote growth of new and diverse businesses and
Brownfield sites have been developed into new
industrial sites. Great efforts have been placed on preserving natural
settings and the
protection of the environment |
